Ok, so I know I haven't had a post in a while. The main reason being: I have been wearing this outfit for the last three days. I feel no need and have no desire to wear anything remotely interesting when I have these babies on my feet. My Hamilton boots came in the mail about two weeks after I originally ordered them (I had some trouble with sizing and had to send them back for an exchange). I thought about getting on one knee and asking the UPS man that delivered them to marry me...I'm still thinking about it. They are definitely higher than most of the shoes I wear but still really comfortable. With my lack of motivation to wear these with anything else, I'm considering having a little contest for whoever can create the best outfit inspiration board for my new favorite shoe...with a great prize of course. What do you guys think?

Right after I took the photos below, we headed out to Pho Cafe in Silverlake. A.Mazing! Suss and I talked, over beef Pho and iced coffee, about trying a different ethnic food every week. We're thinking Ethiopian and Indian (I didn't like Indian food the first time but I'm going to give it another shot). Any suggestions on what I should order?

I haven't decided if I like when people call Target, "Tarjay." Sometimes I feel like it makes it sound cheap...which is the opposite of what people that say it are aiming for. Nonetheless, I still shop there, often. This outfit is 96% Target and I love it. The boots are a great fit and super comfortable. Another plus is that they make my size 9 1/2 feet look like what an average human being's foot should look. While I was there, I also picked up two tanks (a black and a white) that look very similar to the one that Erin Wasson x RVCA put out...for 6 bucks each! I'll post pics of them soon... Now I'm off to Pho Cafe in Silverlake.

I couldn't find a slip to go under this dress so I used a really long tank. It managed to cover my bunzies even with the bright sunlight coming through it.

When I was coming up with my blog name (with the help of Suss) I knew I wanted it to include the word "bone" because I planned to post my artwork on here and I happen to paint on x-rays. Only problem is that I haven't been inspired lately...seriously not at all. The concepts are there but as soon as I get the paint out, lay a million sheets of newspaper on the ground to avoid staining the carpet and sketch a ton of ideas on scratch paper, it all comes to a screeching halt and I can't get started. I usually leave everything out for a couple days, to the horror of my very understanding roommate and best friend, just incase it comes to me...it hasn't. The picture above is the last painting I completed. The first is my motivation board with the things that inspired me while I worked on it. I'm now convinced that I can only paint while watching Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Luckily, I recently had a friend give me a copy and I'm hoping I'll have more paintings up soon. Wish me luck.

I felt inspired to bring out a wolf t-shirt, cut into a racer back a while ago, when I saw Camille of childhood flames' amazing horse shirt. I'm still debating whether or not to take in the sides so I can wear it without the tank underneath. The material of the shirt is a little thick and bulky and might need to be washed a couple more times to get that worn in feel.
P.S. If I look happy it's because I just had Dr. Tea's Capa-TEA-no...probably one of the best things to ever happen to me.
